Coming to breakfast club to read certainly helped some of our ex pupils to achieve better results. This term we have lots of other children from year 6,5, and some year 4 who are getting up early to join the staff and some Mums and Dads.It is not just reading there seems to be a lot of competition with some of the games and it is not just the children !!! There is also the choice of toast or cereal, jam or cheese spread, fruit juice or hot chocolate, not a bad way to start a school day as I am sure the children will say. So a big well done to the children for coming every day.
What we do…
Breakfast club is for cool dudes who are invited in. We encourage them to read with us and also have breakfast of toast and jam ,delicious hot chocolate or juice. It starts at 8′oclock and the last chance for toast is 8.40am. You can also play any of the board games we have or listen to some of our tape stories. We have lots of helpers who make it a good start to the day.
